The Wells SS-8TDU drop-in soup warmer can be used to warm soups in buffet lines or in the kitchen. It has an in-counter design with Wellslocks™ to simplify installation. For convenience, the attached control panel can be placed wherever operators prefer, provided it’s close enough to the well. Because the controls consist of a single temperature dial, they are intuitive—users need only know the level at which to set the dial. Once the temperature reaches this level, the panel's indicator light turns on.

This Wells SS-8TDU drop-in round well can be used wet or dry. It holds one seven-quart inset pan—which must be bought separately—and facilitates stirring with its round shape. By periodically stirring the pan, users can prevent food burning onto the bottom or sides. In case food dribbles onto the rim or into the well when serving food, this unit is made of stainless steel to avert rust and be wiped clean.
